Just in case you haven't realized, my favorite animals are cows.

Three things that you should know about me.
- I am entering my tenth year of teaching. I have taught at Cityview for five years, Olson for two years and three years at Seward. I honestly am the most excited about this upcoming year.
- I am slightly deaf in my right ear due to working construction. As a result, there may be times when I go "huh?" repeatedly until I do hear you.
- I am married and my wife's name is Chelsea. We have one son, Maxwell, but I alsoI frequently refer to my students as my kids.

The best thing about me is the fact that I am a generally positive person. This is helpful because it allows me to quickly get over disappointing times and try and find the best of the situation.
What you see above is a cow. While you may be wondering, "Why does my teacher have so many pictures of cows", I am pleased to tell you that they are one of the funniest animals that has ever existed and they bring me great joy.

I enjoy many different types of foods, but my favorite would have to be burritos. I love how almost anything can be put in a tortilla and become instantly a portable meal. I especially enjoy spicy foods and burritos generally are accompanied by hot spices.

I read a lot of books and it would be impossible for me to narrow down all of the magnificent stories to an absolute favorite. What I have decided to do instead is display the cover of the best book that I have read recently.
The Magicians, by Lev Grossman was an incredible read. It is basically a book about the growth of a young man and how he responds to various challenges he faces. I loved how Grossman manages to make me respect the main character, hate him and finally, pity him before having the cycle return to the beginning.

My favorite movie is Inception. I loved how this movie made me wonder, both during and after the movie, just what exactly had happened? I also cannot remember feeling as tense or nervous about the characters as I did when watching this film.
